What matters to us?
First and most importantly: You.
We believe in putting you first. Calibrate has been built to provide the best results & experience for you. We do more than just understand an injury, we are determined to understand the cause and what makes your situation unique. This allows us to get you pain-free, functioning at your optimum & prevent future injuries.
Expertise and innovation.
Second is providing the best version of us.
Our therapists are all required to keep on top of current research and to continue to develop new skills. Those we work with are the best at what they do, we share our expertise in order to create a group of professionals who are committed to getting better everyday. We pride ourselves on creating innovative solutions to your problems.
Being greater than the sum of our parts
Third is the fact that life is better together.
We value our team members, our partners and everyone who walks through our doors. We want to see you reach your goals and perform at your peak. Send us your success stories as we love to hear them. We organise workshops and opportunities for our Calibrate community. If you want to join our team or be part of the community drop us your details.
To calibrate is to be in sync with your environment, to tune your body to its optimum. From this place we can fully appreciate our lives, we do our best work, we push past our expectations. This optimum looks different for everyone, and we all start from different points. Whether you're in agony and can't walk, an athlete stuck on how to knock time off their event, desk related aches, or feeling great and wanting to stay that way.
Hands-on innovative solutions in health.
Our mission is changing lives one appointment at a time. We do this by understanding you and what makes you unique, this ensures that even the most difficult cases are solved. We have helped thousands of people out of pain, or to out perform their expectations. Calibrate is home to specialists trained in Osteopathy & functional training and experienced in injury management, pain relief, rehabilitation, sports science, biomechanics, psychology, nutrition and health promotion (the salutogenic model).
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a hands-on drug-free medicine which focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders while addressing the total health of the person. Osteopathic medicine is patient focused and tailored to the individual, not just the injury. Practitioners are educated in traditional medical modalities of diagnosis but then undergo rigorous training in non-surgical techniques to treat the neuromusculoskeletal systems, this includes (but not limited to) the muscles, joints and nerves.
Lastly a focus toward optimum health.
We ask ourselves how we can best promote health, instead of focusing purely on what has or might go wrong. Health isn't just the absence of pain. Being aware of this helps to put goals in perspective and often re-calibrates how we look at ourselves.
