What we do
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a hands-on drug-free medicine which focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders. Tailored to the individual to treat the cause rather than just the symptoms. Practitioners are educated in traditional medical modalities of diagnosis but then undergo rigorous training in non-surgical techniques to treat the neuromusculoskeletal systems, this includes (but not limited to) the muscles, joints and nerves.
Manual Therapy
Hands-on techniques which include but are not limited to joint mobilisation & manipulation, soft tissue techniques, and deep muscular releases.
Exercise therapy
Our bodies require movement to function optimally. By assessing how your body moves and understanding your goals, we can educate you on where and how to focus your efforts on exercising efficiently. Whether you are looking for good posture, pain-free living, or performing better at your chosen sport.
Nutrition & Lifestyle Advice
Nutrition, sleep, postures & habits. What are the routines in your life which go on unchecked? Very often these factors thought to account for very little, make a big difference. For example think about a 1% change daily (hardly noticeable), yet where would you be after a year, or a decade!
Postural assessment
Over our lifetimes it can be all to common to adopt postures which affect our bodies negatively; causing excessive joint and muscle stress. By having a postural review we can often alleviate chronic pains or prevent future issues.
Ergonomic desk setup
Our working postures take up a big part of our lives whether we like it or not. By having an expert review your workstation a lot of desk related aches and pains can be prevented.
Dry Needling
A method of myofascial trigger point acupuncture which utilises anatomical knowledge to treat the neuromusculoskeletal system.
Kinesio & Rigid Taping
Dynamic or rigid tape used around joints and muscles to increase stability, prevent injury or reduce pain.
Ultrasound
A machine which uses high-frequency sound waves to aid fluid dynamics and cellular processes in order to speed up healing.
Electrotherapy
A machine which stimulates muscles and nerve fibres to help activate muscles and alleviate pain (which includes TENS, EMS, interferential).
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a discipline of understanding, treating and rehabilitating neuromusculoskeletal disorders. Practitioners are specialised in rehabilitation, pain management, human movement and post-surgical exercise plans.

WHAT TO EXPECT
To understand your path to recovery, we must first map out the terrain.
First we will ask questions which cover your medical history and lifestyle. Then an assessment of your muscles, joints, connective tissue and their relevant movements will be completed often alongside neurological and orthopaedic tests.
Leading the way.
Our Osteopath will now start working on you while explaining what has been found in simple and understandable terms. Then we will show you how to maintain the changes, and continue to improve yourself. If you have any questions or concerns we will do everything we can to answer them.
Arriving at your solution.
Our goals may only take one session to reach, maybe you're there in a month, or this could be your first step on a long journey. No matter your condition you will have a plan after the first session, this will provide a clear path to a better you.
